Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Legal Administrator to join our small regional office in Strathalbyn. This is a varied role that involves working closely with our team of lawyers and support staff to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the firm.
Key Responsibilities:
* Reception duties, including answering and allocating incoming phone calls;
* Greeting clients and other visitors upon arrival;
* Coordinating conference and meeting rooms;
* Providing administrative support to the Paralegal and Legal teams;
* Record-keeping for client matters, including file opening, custody, and archiving;
* Client liaison, including arranging meetings, witnessing documents, and client follow-up on document return;
* Scanning of incoming and outgoing mail;
* Invoicing and accounts management;
* Ordering stock;
* Photocopying and filing;
* Other general administrative/reception duties, including maintaining the presentation of the Reception area and receiving deliveries.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a corporate environment;
* Accounts experience desirable;
* Professional phone manner;
* High-level computer skills (MS Office suite);
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills;
* High-level customer service skills;
* Strong work ethic and initiative;
* Excellent time management and organization skills;
* Able to work as part of a team as well as autonomously.
