We are seeking a proactive, solution-oriented Wix Website Designer to join our team. The role involves providing support to the team and existing clients, managing client requests, optimising websites, and helping the team on existing projects.
The ideal candidate has a knack for problem-solving, strong communication skills, and is comfortable working autonomously.
There is significant potential for growth within the role, with initial hours set between 10-15 hours per week and the possibility to expand to 20-30 hours for the right person.
English needs to be highly proficient as you will be required to write blogs and newsletters for the business and location needs to be in within 4 hours of Sydney timezone.
Key Responsibilities:Client Support: Address and resolve technical and design requests from clients, using support resources, knowledge bases, and Wix support as needed.Website Audits & Maintenance: Conduct monthly audits for subscription clients, implement minor fixes, and provide recommendations for ongoing site improvement.Performance Optimisation: Ensure all websites meet performance standards, including implementing basic SEO (e.g., meta tags, alt tags) and loading optimisations.Backend Setup: Manage essential backend tasks, such as DNS changes, business email configuration, and integrating Wix apps (e-commerce, CRM, blog, etc.).Front-End Design & Accessibility: Ensure websites are responsive, visually appealing, and accessible across devices, following best practices for layout, font choices, and color contrast.Client Communication: Act as a liaison for technical issues, providing clear, professional, and timely responses to client inquiries and updates on project status.Content & Product Updates: Assist with the addition of content, product uploads, and category/collection updates as needed.Training & Tutorials: Offer clients video tutorials on website management basics.Requirements:Technical Expertise: Proven experience with Wix website design, including SEO basics and performance optimisation.Client-Focused Problem Solver: Ability to understand client needs and find effective solutions, even when answers require additional research.Organised & Detail-Oriented: Highly organised with excellent attention to detail, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and within deadlines.English Proficiency: High proficiency in verbal and written English, with the ability to manage clients professionally and autonomously.Availability: 10-15 hours per week with flexibility to increase hours as client needs grow.Preferred QualificationsExperience with Wix Studio is highly desirable.Portfolio demonstrating at least 10 previous Wix websites.Background in website audits, accessibility best practices, and content management.Familiarity with website tools such as Google Analytics, SEO plugins, and other Wix-compatible applications.Application ProcessTo apply, please email ****** with the following information:
