As a Software Engineer at Tiimely, you'll play a key role in developing high-impact products across our web, integration, and credit decisioning platforms. If you love building scalable, secure, and innovative software solutions, this is the role for you.Your other responsibilities will include:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop secure, scalable software solutions.
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices.
Develop new features, enhance existing software components, and ensure smooth integration across platforms.
Implement modular, reusable, and well-documented software solutions.
Conduct thorough testing (unit, integration, and end-to-end) to ensure high-quality, robust applications.
Extend and maintain automated test coverage for both new and existing components.
Resolve software defects and ensure seamless collaboration with testers.
Produce detailed technical documentation including design specs and technical documentation.
Work closely with front-end engineers to create seamless, integrated user experiences.
Participate in Scrum ceremonies and rotating Scrum Master duties.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to elevate code quality.
Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize platform performance.
Contribute to the CI/CD pipeline for streamlined deployment and configuration management.
Integrate security best practices to protect against vulnerabilities.
Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, applying them to Tiimely’s products.
What We're Looking For
A passion for continuous learning and innovation in software development. Strong interest in open-source projects and engagement in the community would be a plus.
Strong demonstrated experience in full-stack software development, with a focus on back-end engineering.
Strong expertise in .NET Core (MVC and Web APIs), C#, MSSQL, and Event Driven Architecture.
Familiarity with front-end technologies such as NextJS, TypeScript, and Python (a plus).
Solid experience with SOA, Microservices, and integration technologies (JSON, RESTful APIs, GraphQL, SOAP, XSLT).
Experience working with AWS and serverless services.
A deep understanding of software development principles, including clean code, SOLID, DRY, DDD, and immutability.
Expertise in Agile development methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
Strong version control skills using Git.
Experience with collaborative development practices like code reviews and pair programming.
Familiarity with defensive coding strategies to ensure fault tolerance and graceful degradation.
