About the Role The role oversees the governance and management of Mental health information systems across MSAMHS, ensuring compliance with local, state, and national health data standards, including the Australian Privacy Principles and Queensland-specific regulations. The position provides expert advice on health information legislation, data governance frameworks, and best practices in health information management, ensuring all policies and processes meet the legal and operational requirements of addiction and mental health services. Responsible for leading the design and development of interactive Power BI dashboards and other data visualisation tools to support data-driven decision-making, service planning, and reporting across addiction and mental health services. The role works collaboratively with Data Analysts, Data Engineers, and Data Scientists to develop data models, predictive analytics, and insights that improve patient outcomes and inform strategic planning within MSAMHS.
