Diversity Native Seeds is looking for experienced fulltime Agricultural Technicians.

Our Quality Assurance system covers all aspects of the supply process including, harvesting, processing and storage. We have a passion for helping create better habitats for native fauna, and a better environment for future generations.
As an Experienced Agricultural Technician, you will undertake the following duties:
· Provide expertise and advice in establishment of both irrigated and dryland seed production plantations
· Assisting in the development of new techniques for harvesting and processing seed production areas
· Provide expertise in analysing the agroforestry systems best suited to integrated production of seed, honey, timber, essential oils and other forestry products
· Assist in the development and management of our seed quality assurance systems, this will include improving seed viability testing methodology, improving the organisation of Quality Assurance data and investigation of seed dormancy and seed storage solutions.
· Liaise with clients in relation to Quality Assurance and research data.
· Assist in broad range of market research and data collection including but not limited to, agroeconomic data and product development associated with products including seed, honey, timber and other forestry products.
· Explore further opportunities to develop links between our properties, the products derived from them and the biodiversity/conservation values of the property and tourism.
· Train other DNS staff in the techniques required to produce these materials.
Required Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
· Relevant Diploma qualification
· Relevant work experience
· Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
· Normal hours will be between 7am and 3pm Monday to Friday. Must be willing to work overtime and away from home during harvest seasons and when needed. Possibility of needing to work weekends.
Salary range: $75,000 to $85,000
