Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network (BHFLHN) delivers health services to peri-urban, rural and remote communities. We deliver a range of in-hospital, aged care, community, disability, and mental health services through public hospitals and other health and aged care service sites located at Gawler, Angaston, Tanunda, Eudunda, Kapunda, Mount Pleasant, Gumeracha, Mount Barker, Strathalbyn, Victor Harbor and Kangaroo Island.
BHFLHN services 12% of South Australia's total population, and 40% of the state's rural population, making up over 200,000 people. The Barossa Valley and parts of the Adelaide Hills have some of the few growing populations in South Australia; a fact we must continue to plan for in our service and workforce modelling.

ABOUT THE ROLE
An exciting opportunity is opening up to work within the Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network. The physiotherapist will provide generalist outpatient physiotherapy services to the Adelaide Hills community in a recently refurbished clinical outpatients hub, including gym facilities.
Overview
The Physiotherapist applies clinical experience, increasingly generalist and / or specialist clinical knowledge and professional competence to plan, implement and evaluate a comprehensive and integrated range of services, appropriate to the needs of the local community. The Physiotherapist works under reduced clinical direction and may contribute to the clinical supervision of less experienced allied health professionals, allied health assistants and students. As a member of a multi-professional team, including health professionals and service providers from other sectors, the Physiotherapist utilises a combination of preventative, early intervention, treatment / therapy and evaluation approaches.
Qualifications
Must hold a recognised qualification within the Physiotherapy profession and be eligible for full membership of the Physiotherapy Board of Australia. For those professions requiring Registration, all requirements to obtain and maintain current registration must be fulfilled.
Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Check and appropriate immunisation requirements.
