We are currently offering an exciting opportunity for a Sales Support Merchandise to join our Toogoolawah branch to support our team on a permanent basis.
About the Opportunity: Reporting to the Branch Manager you will focus on developing strong customer relationships. Our customer base is broad and can include local farmers, primary producers and trade customers and the focus of your role is to provide a memorable experience for all customers either in store or over the telephone whilst:
Performing general administrative tasks including stock control, ordering, receipting, and dispatching of goodsAssisting customers with pricing and product queriesProcessing counter salesMaintaining safety processesMaintaining a welcoming, friendly, and well-presented store environmentLoading and unloading trucks, dispatching, and unpacking orders and deliveriesThis role includes a rotating Saturday rosterAbout you: To be successful in this role you will have previous experience in a team support role in a busy environment. You'll have a passion for Australian farming and agriculture, ideally with knowledge of animal health and rural merchandise. In addition, you will demonstrate:
Experience working within a sales environmentEffective verbal communications skills to build solid long-term customer relationshipsA proactive approach to work and practical organisation skillsExcellent attention to detailProblem solving skills and empathy to resolve customer issues promptlyAbility to identify ways to improve internal sales processesExcellent computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, and OutlookA current driver's license is essential. A forklift ticket is advantageous but not requiredWhy work for us?
