The PLM Support Engineer will be a team player, supporting the Engineering Environment Team and providing support to Hardware Engineering teams, managers and engineers managing their product configurations in the PTC Windchill tools. This is a junior / entry level role that would suit a graduate or early career engineer, or for someone looking for an opportunity to reskill into Windchill and Hardware Configuration Management OUR BENEFITS Competitive remuneration Super ThalesFlex – Hybrid work environment Fitness Passport Discount – Access to a network of Gyms across AUS Employee discounts with a number of affiliates (Travel, Car hire, Tech, Medical Insurance) Modernised Paid Parental Leave Veterans Leave Novated Lease options Personal & professional training development opportunities YOUR ROLE Working from our Sydney HQ, Sydney Olympic Park, on Wann-gal land, your role purpose will be: You have experience with Mechanical product line management tools (PTC Windchill highly regarded) Knowledge of Mechanical Engineering design tools (PTC Creo highly regarded) Knowledge of Product Line Management (PLM) approaches to support mechanical engineering (Windchill PDMLink, Teamcenter highly regarded) Knowledge across related disciplines and needs for Production, Procurement and Services as they interface to the Mechanical discipline (Document and interchange formats, production CAM/CAD, interface specifications) Knowledge of IS/IT required to operate systems (virtualisation, operating systems, storage systems, backups, networking etc.) YOUR EXPERIENCE To be successful in your role, you will have demonstrated and/or acquired the following knowledge and experience: Bachelor of Engineering Degree or equivalent. Excellent written and oral communication skills. This role will involve dealing with design and manufacture of weapons and may require specific permits and licensing from state governments.
