About the Role
In this newly created role, you will be a critical member of the HR team where no two days are the same. This position reports to our Group HR Operations & Payroll Manager. We want a team member that is willing to work collaboratively to manage HRIS, run the monthly and fortnightly pay cycles and assist with other payroll related matters. We are a fun team that enjoy working closely and aim to give a great experience to the 650 employees and contractors we support.
What you will be doing
• Ownership of HRIS
• Processing monthly and fortnightly payrolls with support from Group HR Operations & Payroll Manager.
• Responding to general payroll and system queries
• Assisting with month & year end tasks (including superannuation, payroll tax, workers compensation, PAYG & 3rd party payments)
• Assisting with HR/Payroll continuous improvement activities and ad-hoc projects
To be considered for this role, you will have:
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Previous Payroll experience ideally in a fast-paced environment
• Experience using a HRIS system
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and contribute to a range of tasks
