As Manager of Plant Product Integrity Standards, you'll drive strategic oversight and manage operational excellence to open markets and protect NSW's thriving plant industry. Working within a science-based regulatory environment, you'll reduce biosecurity risks, streamline regulatory processes, and enhance market access opportunities for NSW's plants and plant products. Collaborate with key stakeholders to foster shared ownership of biosecurity and market access, making a lasting impact on the sustainability and success of NSW's agricultural sector.Key Responsibilities Lead & Innovate: Achieve biosecurity and product integrity goals through strategic planning, policy development, and effective team management.Develop Science-Based Standards: Establish and implement policies to address biosecurity risks, balancing industry needs and regulatory standards.Advise & Engage: Provide expert policy advice, develop stakeholder programs, and engage with technical committees at all levels to represent NSW interests.Collaborate & Draft: Work with legal teams to contribute to biosecurity regulation, compliance, and reform efforts that impact plant industries.About you You will be a strategic thinker with a passion for plant biosecurity and leadership experience in managing teams effectively.Tertiary qualifications in agriculture, plant science, botany, ecology or other area relevant to plant biosecurity.A current NSW drivers licence and the ability to travel.How to Apply If this sounds like your ideal role, we'd love to hear from you!
