The Finance Analyst will provide support to the Finance Business Partnering (FBP) team to ensure delivery of insightful reporting and analysis for the business to assist in decision making aligned with AFCA’s strategic priorities whilst ensuring efficiency in its organisational footprint. Responsibilities include all month end reporting, budget, forecasting and ad hoc requirements as required by the FBP team, as well as assisting with the Finance Operations team with month end reconciliation tasks. This role will report to the Senior Manager, Finance Business Partnering and Transformation. Qualifications Tertiary qualified in either Accounting, Economics, Finance or a related field. CPA/CA qualified desired but not essential. Demonstrated high-level of numeracy and accuracy with exceptional attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Microsoft D365 FinOps, SAP, Oracle) and strong skills using Microsoft Office suite, including advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Strong interpersonal skills and excellent oral and written communication skills. Self-motivated and resourceful, with the ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively, and work as part of a team. Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong ethical standards and commitment to maintaining confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
