This role encompasses driving all aspects of the factory, including safety, quality, HR/IR, production, maintenance, inwards goods, warehouse, dispatch & distribution, projects, and continuous improvements. A crucial element our client seeks is the cultivation of a positive people and culture environment, enhancing overall productivity and performance, and providing mentorship and development opportunities for employees.Your career to date would focus on people and culture, driving maximum productivity, safety, and performance by focusing on 'how' to elicit the value that everyone has to bring to the table.This position is integral to the overall success of the company and will see you:Plan, direct and coordinate all aspects of manufacturing operations, improving performance, productivity, efficiency, and profitability through effective methods and strategies.Work collaboratively with the management team to manage all manufacturing needs of the business.Provide strategic direction/input for development of best-in-class operations.Report to the General Manager on manufacturing operations progress and performance against Key Performance Indicators (KPI's).Review financial statements and data to improve profitability.Prepare and manage manufacturing budgets, forecasting, and assist in planning financial strategies from the manufacturing department.Implement robust quality control and assurance, and coordinate with purchasing for material supply.Coordinate, manage and monitor the manufacturing operations with a focus on customer satisfaction.Measure and implement improvement in manufacturing and supply chain.Implement sustainable lean and visual manufacturing techniques.Review capacity of production facility in line with sales forecasts and make recommendations.Produce innovative production processes to manufacture new and existing products.Continue the development of the ERP System in the production and supply chain areas.Identify new opportunities that will give added value and income opportunities.Assist with the development of methods to market the manufacturing facility.Provide coaching and training to assist in the development of competencies and confidence of personnel in the manufacturing and supply departments.Other operational processes and activities as required.Mandatory Requirements: Qualification in Engineering, Business or Supply Chain or equivalent industry relevant manufacturing experience.Over five years of management experience in factory or plant operations within the manufacturing sector.Proven production management, warehousing, logistics and distribution experience.Demonstrated knowledge and application of organisational effectiveness and business operations management.Sound understanding of technology within a manufacturing environment.Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other manufacturing software programs.Benefits: Benefits of the role include a focus on career development, a great work environment, and the satisfaction of working with a strong team.If you aspire to a career with a successful organisation that recognises and provides #J-18808-Ljbffr
