Payroll Officer Your new companyOur clients in Eight Mile Plains are looking for their next Payroll Officer for 6 months with the possibility of extension. You will have a critical role in guaranteeing the seamless and precise handling of payroll.Your new roleEnsure compliance and adherence to relevant regulations and standards. Apply your expertise in award interpretation to ensure payroll accuracy for our employees. Respond to payroll enquiries from employees and management, providing advice and guidance as required. Assist with monthly and annual reports.What you'll need to succeedExperience in payroll processing, with a strong understanding of relevant legislation and regulations. The ability to interpret and apply award conditions to payroll processes. The ability to manage employee terminations with attention to detail and adherence to company policies. Strong knowledge of superannuation calculations and associated compliance requirements. Excellent communication skills written and verbal. Although you will be working using Chris21/iChris, we will look at other similar software experience, but exposure to large payroll systems in busy, high-volume environments will be critical.
