Period of Appointment Appointment to the role is on a fixed term flexible (up to 73.5 hours per fortnight) basis for eighteen (18) months.
Duties Provide high level advice and recommendations on complex issues including policy matters, intergovernmental relationships and delivery models for projects, based on thorough analysis and consideration, and close consultation with key stakeholders, both internal and external.
Develop, implement, and manage policy and projects adopting a fit-for-purpose, contemporary project management approach to achieve high quality outcomes within defined timeframes and resource constraints.
Prepare high level written work and correspondence which may include Ministerial correspondence, Minutes, Cabinet documentation, briefing material, reports, submissions and other documentation, and steering committee papers for decision as required.
This may include the preparation of responses to Ministerial and stakeholder requests.
Engage with stakeholders, both internal and external to government to understand how policy and projects affect or are affected by operational environments, to ensure advice to government results in the delivery of outcomes that are fit for purpose.
