Our Supply & Inventory Manager plays a key role in the Operations team, leading efforts in inventory management, supply chain optimisation, and forecasting.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee inventory management and optimise supply chain processes.
* Develop, implement, and monitor improvement plans for inventory and supply chain performance.
* Lead a team of three direct reports, providing coaching, mentoring, and development opportunities.
* Drive service improvements (DIFOT, Supply Rate, Back Orders) and maintain accurate inventory forecasting.
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless operations and resolve supply chain challenges.
* Deliver regular KPI reports, with recommendations for process improvements.
Requirements
* Proven experience in inventory management and supply chain optimisation.
* Strong leadership and team management skills with a focus on developing others.
* Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Experience with ERP systems and strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
* Knowledge of the heavy vehicle industry or retail/wholesale environments is a plus.
