Together, we deliver integrated solutions from project inception to completion, driven by a shared commitment to excellence.Location: Across multiple sites and Perth head office.The Role:We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to lead our surveying operations and drone-based survey capabilities. This dual-role position involves overseeing all aspects of surveying projects while ensuring compliance and efficiency in our RPAS (Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems) operations.Key Responsibilities:Manage and lead surveying operations across various projects, ensuring quality and accuracy.Supervise and mentor a team of surveyors and remote pilots.Operate and maintain modern surveying equipment, including GNSS, total stations, and laser scanners.Plan, manage, and conduct RPAS operations in compliance with CASA regulations.Oversee the acquisition and processing of aerial data for geospatial analysis.Develop and implement operational procedures for survey and drone operations.Ensure all work is performed in accordance with industry standards and safety protocols.Prepare and deliver detailed survey reports and project updates to clients and stakeholders.Required Skills and Experience:Survey Manager:Degree or Diploma in Surveying, Geospatial Science, or a related field.Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a surveying management role.Proficiency with survey equipment (GNSS, total stations, laser scanners).Strong knowledge of survey software (12d, 12dField, Captivate).Experience managing large-scale construction, mining, or infrastructure projects.Proven leadership skills with experience managing a technical team.Strong project management, communication, and reporting skills.CASA Certified Chief Remote Pilot or Base Pilot (RePL).Minimum of 3 years’ experience operating RPAS for commercial purposes.Proficiency with drone software tools such as Pix4D, DroneDeploy, Agisoft Metashape.Strong understanding of CASA regulations and RPAS operational compliance.Experience in flight planning, risk assessments, and data acquisition.Ability to train and manage a team of remote pilots.Experience with flight log management and incident reporting.Commitment to operational safety and adherence to aviation standards.What We Offer:Competitive salary based on experience.Opportunities for professional growth and development.A supportive and innovative work environment.Access to cutting-edge technology and tools.How to Apply:If you are passionate about people, thrive in a collaborative environment, and want to contribute to the success of a leading civil construction company, we want to hear from you!Click Apply Now to submit your application, including your resume and a cover letter outlining your experience and what makes you the ideal candidate for this role.
