We showcase top tier, highly sought-after collections from over 70 established and emerging designer brands.About the Role:Established DesignerReporting to Head of DesignResponsible for the design and development of apparel productYou will collaborate with Designers across adjacent categories, as well as with the Head of Design, Product Developers and Buying teamDay to day you will be:Creating and executing design concepts with a focus on colour and graphic directionTrend forecasting and concept development, interpreting trends and translating them into commercial product deliveriesAhead of season sourcing – fabric and trimsRange building and sketching, presenting CADs and storyboards for design sign offCreating thorough, detailed Tech Packs and inputting to PLM systemWorking with a garment technician to perfect fitsLiaising with offshore suppliersTo succeed in this role, you will need to have:3+ years in a similar roleThrive in a busy and fast paced environmentDemonstrated experience across product development within the retail industryStrong design eye and be obsessed with fashion and lifestyle trendsUnderstanding of fashion and activewear fabrications, silhouettes and construction techniquesStrong communication skills, both written and verbalExcellent attention to detailMust be organized with exceptional time management skillsCollaborative and strong interpersonal skillsExperience with pre-production approval processes – lab dips, strike offs, prototyping, sample approvalsBe customer focused, commercial and coordinate product ranges that both grow sales, and position our brand as best in market.High level of proficiency with Adobe Creative suiteAffiliation with Accent Group core values and “Make it Happen” attitudeThis is a print driven role – if you are someone who is passionate about this, and can create their own prints and repeats, that would be highly advantageousAt Accent Group Limited we are committed to creating an inclusive workplace that promotes and values diversity and inclusion.
