Our multidisciplinary external affairs and marketing and communication unit is seeking a social media professional to fill an Advisor (Social Media) position. With a primary focus on social media, you will plan, design and publish integrated content, manage risk, and contribute to departmental business priorities and strategic objectives that elevate TMR's brand.
As Advisor (Social Media), you will:
• Coordinate daily activities of the social media team and partner with other Strategic Communication Unit teams including media, digital content, organisational communications and marketing to ensure timely and accurate delivery of integrated communication services.
• Research, plan, and create contemporary communications for social media and/or other channels as required to align with TMR's business priorities and strategy.
• Create, schedule, publish, optimise and report on paid social media campaigns,with a focus on improving performance and delivering outcomes.
• Cultivate effective relationships with key stakeholder groups to facilitate the development and implementation of customer-centric communication tools and techniques.
• Conduct research, analysis, and evaluation of stakeholder sentiment; assess the effectiveness of external communication messaging and campaigns and report findings.
What we're looking for:
• A Bachelor's degree in marketing, public relations, communications, corporate affairs, or similar, or at least five years of experience in a similar media role.
• Demonstrated experience producing engaging content for social media channels, with a strong understanding of platform-specific best practices, including tools, analytics and reporting. Create, curate, and schedule engaging content across multiple platforms, including copy, images, reels, vlogs, and infographics.
• Experience demonstrating strong stakeholder engagement and management abilities, including providing clear strategic advice in achieving communication objectives.
• Someone who possesses strong organisational, resource, and time management skills and has highly developed business and political acumen and emotional intelligence.
