We're looking for a talented Experience Designer to join our growing team.
You'll play a key role in designing digital products for clients across government, not-for-profits, and private sectors.

What you'll do:
Dig into research: Talk to users, test ideas, and dive deep into how people interact with services.
Use those insights to make smarter, more impactful design decisions.Design meaningful experiences: Craft engaging end-to-end digital experiences through wireframes, prototypes, and user testing.
Your designs will make life easier for the people who use them.Create beautiful interfaces: Design polished, accessible interfaces that don't just look good—they work beautifully.
You'll collaborate with developers to bring them to life.
Create detailed design specs that describe the interaction patterns and style guidelines, to ensure a seamless handoff to development teams.Champion accessibility: Bring inclusivity to the forefront of your work.
You'll design with accessibility in mind, ensuring everything aligns with standards like WCAG.Engage with stakeholders: Work closely with clients and team members, presenting your ideas with clarity and confidence.
You'll make sure everyone's on the same page—and just as excited as you are.Think holistically: Sometimes, you'll step back to look at the big picture, considering how digital products fit into broader service journeys.What we're looking for:
Experience and skills:
Exceptional foundational design skills across space, typography, colour, hierarchy, and composition.Professional experience designing digital interfaces, with a strong understanding of user-centered design principles.Proficiency with tools like Figma, FigJam, Adobe Creative Suite, and Miro.The ability to create interactive prototypes that accurately simulate real-world user interactions.Solid skills in UX processes, including user research, wireframing, information architecture, and usability testing.Experience with using design systems.Collaboration and adaptability:
A team player who loves working with others to solve problems and deliver exceptional results.Experience working in Agile environments, adapting quickly and contributing to iterative processes.A continuous learning mindset, actively seeking to learn and adapt to emerging tools and technologies within the digital design landscape.Clear, thoughtful communication skills, whether you're chatting with clients, presenting concepts, or collaborating with developers.A portfolio showcasing 2-3 projects that highlight your UX process and the impact of your designs.Familiarity with designing for government agencies, with an understanding of accessibility and compliance requirements.
Systems thinking: Ability to see the bigger picture, connecting digital designs with broader service systems and organisational objectives.
Emerging technology: Interest in leveraging AI and other emerging technologies to fast-track processes and enhance digital experiences.
Experience planning and conducting user interviews or usability tests.
