A great opportunity now exists for an experienced Press Machine Operator to join us working rotating shifts, day, afternoon and night shift.
About the Role:This position is responsible for operating Capral Aluminium’s machinery such as CNC routers and associated equipment, ensuring safety, quality and productivity standards are achieved.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Operate machinery and use of hand tools in line with site Work Instructions / Safe Operating Procedures
* Ensure product quality and productivity standards are maintained to achieve customer delivery targets
* Participate in training to become a multi-skilled team member
* Take full accountability for personal safety and well-being, develop an understanding of risk minimisation and be committed to achieving the highest possible standards for Safety, Health and the Environment (SH&E)
* Work constructively with colleagues to build a supportive, positive culture with continuous improvement
ESSENTIAL:
* Understanding of safety principles
* Maintain a high level of activity across all shifts
* Demonstrated experience in working in a team environment
* Understanding of quality principles
* Computer literacy
DESIRABLE:
* 2 years previous experience with automated machinery
* Ability to identify and help resolve problems
* Forklift licence
