Position: ICMS, Environmental & Safety Lead

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading provider of transport and infrastructure solutions for a seasoned ICMS, Environmental & Safety Lead. This position is instrumental in advancing our integrated compliance and environmental management efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the development and enhancement of the Integrated Compliance Management System (ICMS) to ensure alignment with regulatory, industry, and organizational standards.
* Manage compliance documentation, policies, and procedures, and conduct internal audits to mitigate risks and implement corrective actions.
* Generate compliance reports and maintain audit readiness across all functions.
* Develop and oversee environmental policies and sustainability programs aimed at minimizing environmental impact and ensuring regulatory compliance.
* Monitor environmental performance and recommend strategies for continuous improvement.
* Implement and enforce robust safety programs, conduct risk assessments, and spearhead incident investigations to uphold workplace safety.
* Cultivate a strong organizational culture of safety, environmental responsibility, and regulatory compliance.
Candidate Profile:
* Qualifications: Certificate or Diploma in Environmental Studies, Occupational Health & Safety, Risk Management, or related field.
* Experience: At least five years in compliance management, environmental sustainability, and safety leadership.
* Certifications: Internal Auditor Certification (preferably Diploma in Quality Auditing BSB51615 or equivalent—ISO 19011:20XX).
* Technical Skills: Proficiency in ICMS, EMS, and ISO standards (ISO 45001, ISO 14001, etc.), with solid experience in conducting audits, risk assessments, and compliance evaluations.
* Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
* Leadership: Demonstrated capability to influence and foster a culture of compliance, safety, and sustainability.
