Join to apply for the Senior Transitions Consultant role at MUFG Pension & Market ServicesAbout the roleAs an integral part of the Core Delivery Team, and working with the Transitions Portfolio, you will be engaged in delivering and facilitating successful migrations of new business, mergers, and acquisitions to MUFG superannuation administration systems. The role is crucial in providing consulting services, leadership, and direction throughout the migration process, from tender to implementation and support.Key activities that you will be involved in include requirements gathering, estimation, functional gap analysis, configuration, testing, and support. To succeed in this role, you will need strong knowledge and experience in superannuation and pension product design, systems, and data.You must have, or quickly acquire, expertise in MUFG’s superannuation and pension systems, especially the aaspire platform. Ideally, you will also have knowledge and experience with other superannuation and pension administration systems in the market.Key Accountabilities and main responsibilitiesUnderstands the strategic objectives of MUFG Retirement Solutions and how Transitions will support the achievement of these.New Business / Migration Project Planning including assisting in preparation of tender responses and Proof of Concept development for demonstrations and tenders.Facilitate workshops and assist in high-level requirements gathering, process mapping, gap analysis, Solution design, IT estimations and provide input to project and change planning and scheduling.Engage with internal and external stakeholders, and work with IT teams including business analysts, solution consultants, configuration analysts, and architects to facilitate, guide, and define detailed:Requirements gathering and documentation.Solution options, including pragmatic alternatives for short, medium, and long-term solutions to problems.System functional gap analysis (requirements versus current functionality), System changes (new functionality) and System configuration (setup of new clients/products).Work with and assist the ETL team in data migration, including Data requirements, Analysis and understanding of source data, Mapping of source data to MUFG systems. Assisting in the development of SQL data-fixes where necessary.Work with testing teams to ensure test cases are appropriate and adequate, assist with test case execution and with triaging of failed test cases where needed.Migration Project Implementation and Support including the planning for and execution of live migrations.Assist project managers in coordinating tasks and preparing run sheets. Be available to support go-live migrations, including over weekends.Help troubleshoot and rectify issues.Provide support and guidance to production teams and production support teams during post-migration warranty periods, assisting with root cause analysis, triage, and fixes.Mentor and support IT developers, testers and stakeholders in delivering the new functionality / process.
