Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Development: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing technical team responsible for network infrastructure, security, access control, and cloud services. Foster a culture of collaboration and excellence.
Technical Expertise: Oversee and optimize their network infrastructure, ensuring robust security measures and effective access control. Manage AWS services, including EC2 and S3, and leverage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to streamline operations and deployments.
Strategic Direction: Develop and implement strategies to enhance their technology offerings, keeping abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
Cost Management: Monitor and manage technology costs, ensuring efficient use of resources while staying within budgetary constraints.
Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, translating technical concepts into actionable insights and aligning technology initiatives with business objectives.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements, optimize existing systems, and drive innovation to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.
Your Skills and Experience:
Technical Expertise: Proven experience in managing network infrastructure, security, access control, and cloud services, particularly AWS (EC2, S3) and Infrastructure as Code.
Leadership Skills: Strong ability to develop and lead a technical team, with a track record of building cohesive and high-performing teams.
Strategic Thinking: Demonstrated capability to shape technology strategy and drive improvements aligned with organizational goals.
Communication: Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders and manage relationships effectively.
Cost Management: Experience in managing technology budgets and optimizing costs while ensuring high-quality service delivery.
Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with financial services industry standards and regulations is a plus.
