About the role
We are looking for a Senior Commercial BA to join the Coles 360 Transformation Team, playing a critical role to unlock our growth potential by optimising revenue forecasting, unlocking inventory availability, and using data and reporting to drive decision making. This role sits at the intersection of commercial strategy, financial performance, and data-driven decision-making, ensuring real-time inventory insights, accurate revenue tracking, and demand forecasting that drive business growth and enable strategy execution.
The ideal candidate will have strong commercial acumen and experience in one of inventory and demand forecasting, revenue optimization, and commercial reporting with CRM experience also beneficial.
This high-impact role is perfect for someone who has a commercial mindset, thrives in fast-paced environments, and is passionate about optimizing financial performance through data-driven strategies.
This permanent role is based in Melbourne, but we’re open to Sydney candidates willing to travel fortnightly. Applications close Friday 28th of March.

What you’ll be doing:
* Gather requirements for inventory forecasting and revenue reporting to drive better decision-making and commercial success.
* Develop and refine demand forecasting models to align inventory availability with sales potential.
* Optimize revenue tracking and financial reporting structures in collaboration with Power BI and sales teams.
* Provide insights that drive inventory utilization and demand generation strategies, maximizing margin alongside sales efficiency.
* Analyze sales performance and supplier impact on revenue to identify areas for growth and efficiency.
* Improve forecasting models to ensure accurate pipeline monitoring, revenue tracking, and conversion optimization.
* Lead commercial initiatives that enhance data-driven sales strategies, ensuring real-time visibility into financial performance.
* Work closely with Finance, Sales, Technology and Channel teams to align reporting structures with business goals.
What you bring
You bring a background in consulting, sales operations, CRM optimisation, revenue reporting, or digital transformation, and you’re passionate about solving complex business challenges.
You’ll also need
* Proven experience optimising CRM systems, invoicing and revenue reporting, preferably hands-on experience with Salesforce & Power BI.
* Ability to connect business strategy with technical execution, prioritising high-impact initiatives.
* Comfortable working in ambiguity, identifying challenges, and driving solutions.
* Strong ability to engage with diverse teams, from sales and finance to tech and digital.
