Skills and Qualifications
The successful candidate will have:
* A Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Engineering (Mechanical or Civil/Structural disciplines preferred)
* Creativity, driven, attention to detail
* Positive and proactive mindset
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Exceptional time-management skills/experience
* High capacity for critical and analytical thinking
* Ability to work independently, as well as in a larger team
* A valid driver’s license and have access to a working vehicle
The Role:
Duties will include:
* Develop and document engineered design solutions presented in reports
* Conduct calculations and model trial designs
* Liaise directly with other members of design teams in each project
* Research and data sourcing
* Analyse and interpret legislation
* Developing practical design alternatives that satisfy legislative requirements
* Self-management of clients and projects
