You will receive support from a dedicated management team, consisting of your fellow Coordinators, Senior Coordinator, Area Coordinator, Regional Manager and the OSHC Manager.As the OSHC Coordinator you will be responsible for:The development of quality programsManage the day-to-day running of the programsCoordinate staffing and rosteringEnsure compliance with policyUndertake administrative requirementsWork collaboratively with families and the school communityAs the OSHC Coordinator:You have completed (or are close to completing) a relevant qualification in Childcare or Teaching (minimum - Diploma of Children’s Services)You have sound experience in assisting with programming and a passion for providing quality childcareYou thrive in delivering excellent customer serviceYou have excellent verbal and written communication skillsYou have a valid First Aid and CPR certifications, or the willingness to obtain themYou have a current Blue Card, or the willingness to obtain oneAbout the teamYMCA Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) services care for children before school, after school and during holidays across 50+ school sites throughout South East Queensland. Our service provides a range of indoor and outdoor spaces where our educators maintain a safe, fun and interactive environment for all children to feel supported to play, learn and grow.We are licensed for 130 children and offer Before School Care, After School Care and Vacation Care between the hours of 6:30am and 6pm.
