Overview
The Yorke and Northern Local Health Network are currently seeking Registered Nurses/Midwives to join their CenSTaR Candidate Pool 2024/2025.
As Registered Nurses/Midwives you will contribute to the delivery of professional, high quality nursing care aimed at improving patient health outcomes across Yorke and Northern Local Health Network sites. There are multiple casual positions available for persons willing to work over 7 days and inclusive of night duty. Enjoying excellent team support and exposure to a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions, you will plan, implement and coordinate appropriate service delivery from a range of accepted options. You will also provide health education, counselling and rehabilitation programs to improve the health outcomes of individual patients or groups. It is expected that you will provide support and guidance to newer or less experienced staff, Enrolled Nurses, student nurses and other workers providing basic nursing care.
You will be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, and hold or be eligible to hold a current practicing certificate. With demonstrated experience in providing person-centred nursing care, you will have effective communication skills, including problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills. With the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and prioritise workloads, you will be creative, innovative and flexible when approaching issues within a healthcare setting.
