They pride themselves on investing in their people and technology to maintain excellence in the digital landscape.Job DescriptionYour responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Financial Statement Preparation: Oversee the preparation and consolidation of month-end balance sheet reconciliations Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist with rolling forecasts, strategic planning, and variance analysis.
Systems & Integration: Support the integration of financial planning tools and business intelligence systems.
Prepare journals in accordance with accounting policy.
Asset Management: Maintain and enhance the fixed asset register for the company, focusing on IT assets and software licences.
Financial Analysis: Perform stock valuation costings and variance analyses for technology-related inventory.
Collaboration and Reporting: Support the business analyst with monthly reporting initiatives.
Contribute to monthly executive reports, quarterly cash flow forecasts, and the annual budgeting process.
Audit and Compliance: Assist with year-end audit queries and the review of financial statements and tax reconciliations.
The Successful ApplicantTo be successful in this role, you must have: Degree in Accounting or Finance CA / CPA Qualification Intermediate / advanced Excel skills, with experience in financial modelling and data analysis.
Experience within the Technology Sector or a Big 4 / Mid Tier background is preferable.
Experience in a fast-paced environment, with excellent organisation and problem-solving skills.
Understanding of IFRS / US GAAP and relevant accounting standards in the technology industry.
