Western Health currently has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and passionate individual to join the Western Health at Home Division in the role of Acting Nurse Unit Manager - Sunbury Dialysis Unit.
The Division of Western Health at Home delivers care within the Operations Directorate and spans across all Western Health campuses, with a multidisciplinary workforce of over 1,000 employees includes medical, nursing, pharmacy, allied health, and administration staff.
The Nurse Unit Manager is an integral member of the Divisional leadership team and is responsible and accountable for the delivery of Best Care and effective and efficient operational, financial, and clinical governance in their designated ward and portfolios.
The successful applicant will work in partnership with a strongly committed team to shape the provision, service development, and implementation of high quality and efficient care to patients.
The Acting Nurse Unit Manager for Sunbury Dialysis will be responsible for the leadership and management of the Sunbury Dialysis Unit at Western Health which operates six days per week. The position involves working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders and taking responsibility for the provision of high-quality nursing care to patients within the unit.
The Nurse Unit Manager will foster a culture of inclusiveness, trust, flexibility, accountability, and continuous quality improvement. The role will work collaboratively to ensure improvements and ideas support Best Care and Western Health strategic priorities.
