Virtuous Care Services is a registered family-owned NDIS service provider that provides in-home and community access services for people living with disability. We are equipped with an experienced team of Registered nurses and support workers who have worked in hospitals, aged care, community, and disability services across WA. Virtuous Care Services provides community nursing services, Supported Independent Living (SIL), in-home and community-based care for people living with disability, particularly those accessing the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) across the Southwest region of Western Australia including Bunbury, Busselton, Margaret River, Donnybrook, and surrounding areas.

The position involves Supported Independent Living (SIL) services, including active and passive sleepover shifts, day shifts, and assistance within the community. Your dedication and support will help empower individuals to lead independent, fulfilling lives.
Work alongside our participants to support and assist them with all aspects of daily living, community access, and social inclusion.
Task & Responsibilities
* Personal Care: Assist with daily hygiene tasks (bathing, toileting, dressing, hoist transfers, grooming) while ensuring comfort and privacy.
* Meal Preparation: Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs.
* Household Tasks: Help with light housekeeping duties, including cleaning, laundry, and shopping.
* Companionship: Provide companionship, friendship, and emotional support.
* Health Monitoring: Report any changes in health or behaviours to the management.
* Transportation: Assist participants with transportation to appointments or social events.
* Documentation: Keep accurate records of care provided and report any concerns.

Qualification & Experience
* Minimum 1 year of work experience in providing disability care services.
* Current NDIS Worker Screening.
* New Worker NDIS Induction Module.
* Must have driver’s License.
* Valid and current First Aid and CPR certification or enrolled to obtain both.
* A current Manual Handling Certificate (or willing to obtain).
* Must have completed Certificate III or IV Qualification in a relevant area (Disability/Mental Health/Community Services).
* Willingness and ability to work with participants with high needs.
* Promote participant's choice and independence.
