About the Role
You will be directly supporting clients who have acquired spinal cord injuries with daily tasks in their homes.
Key responsibilities include:
* Assisting clients with transfers in and out of bed and wheelchairs, using hoists when required.
* Grooming, bathing, dressing, and dental hygiene.
* Personal care, including toileting, bladder, and bowel management.
* Basic wound care and self-medication.
* Domestic support such as meal preparation, light household duties, and laundry.
* Community access such as driving to appointments and social activities.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
We are looking for individuals with:
* A valid Driver's Licence and own reliable vehicle.
* A smartphone device.
* The ability to hold or obtain an NDIS Workers Screening Card and Blue Card.
* Completion of the NDIS Workers Orientation Module.
