A long-established business with 47 years’ experience delivering on its promises, Ultradata has successfully completed thousands of technology projects across a portfolio spanning core banking, funds management, consumer finance, lending, and an array of digital and online services.Key AccountabilitiesProject Delivery and ManagementCreate and manage project plans to meet business and client expectations.Prepare project approval requests with appropriate budget recommendations.Coordinate reviews and estimates of new products.Ensure the productivity of team members.Manage project issues and if necessary, implement change management procedures to ensure the delivery of high-quality projects.Manage ongoing reporting of project status from inception to project release.People ManagementResponsible for performance management, skill & capability development, training, recruitment, retention and other people management responsibilities for around 10-15 staff across multiple Ultradata locations.Product and Quality ManagementRecommend best practices and provide technical insights for product solutions.Identify risks and create mitigation plans to ensure the deployment of reliable, secure and scalable software development solutions.Ensure all bugs and related issues are assessed and addressed proactively and incorporated into future product releases.Ensure appropriate controls are in place to manage the structure of application databases and protect Ultradata’s Intellectual Property.The Ideal Person…With a passion for technology and a deep commitment to service, the successful candidate will bring to their candidacy:At least 5 years of experience in managing software development projects and teams.Experience with UniVerse and /or .Net would be an advantage.Experience working in developing software for Retail Banking sector would be an advantage.Ability to effectively work with cross-functional teams and communicate with staff at technical and business levels.Seniority levelAssociateEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionInformation Technology, Project Management, and ManagementIndustriesTechnology, Information and Media, Banking, and Software Development
