Italian Medical Assistance Coordinator
We are seeking a highly skilled Italian Medical Assistance Coordinator to join our rapidly growing travel insurance business.
As an Italian Medical Assistance Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for customers across the globe who require medical assistance while traveling. You will provide practical help through finding solutions and advice to customers who may be distressed or vulnerable.
You will liaise with corporate clients over the phone and via email, coordinating medical assistance and emergency medical travel services. You will also monitor patient status and coordinate travel emergencies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Liaise with customers and corporate clients over the phone and via email
* Provide practical help through finding solutions and advice to customers in difficult circumstances
* Coordinate medical assistance and emergency medical travel services
* Monitor patient status and coordinate travel emergencies
* Ensure all case handling is accurately documented in our system
* Work towards targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) to achieve business objectives
Requirements:
* Fluent in Italian and English
* Solid customer service background
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with empathy, respect, and patience
* Ability to multi-task and prioritise workload to meet targets and deadlines
* Ability to handle difficult conversations and solve problems
* Basic computer skills, proficiency in Outlook, data entry, good numeracy, literacy and attention to detail
