About Your Role:
You will contribute to the success of the Metering Operations program of work across QLD, including our regulated MAMP, Yurika's unregulated programs, Powerlink's program and also supporting Engineering's grid visibility program.
Key Responsibilities:
* Evaluation, design, coordination, installation, commissioning and maintenance of complex metering systems.
* Provide a high level of specialised technical service, laboratory testing, complex equipment accuracy calculations for internal and external customers.
* Installation, testing and fault finding of complex metering systems (including telecommunication equipment).
About You:
* Critical to your success in this role is your Queensland Electrical Workers' licence as an Electrical Fitter Mechanic and a 'C' class driver's licence.
* Demonstrated ability in installation, testing and fault finding of complex metering systems (including telecommunication equipment).
* Strong time-management skills and an ability to plan, prioritise and co-ordinate resources to deliver positive outcomes within the agreed timeframes.
* Excellent customer service skills with ability to solve issues and adapt/learn new skills.
* Ability to provide coaching and technical support to individuals and teams alike.
* Ability to use a variety of electronic devices and learn new software/skills effectively.
* Availability for extensive travel across the state.
Desirable Qualifications:
* Experience working in HV enclosures including maintenance and testing of instrument transformers.
