Job Description We are currently looking to appoint a Regional Sales Manager - Victoria to add crucial value to our experienced and high-performing team at Minor Hotels.
Based in our Commercial Office on Market Street, this exciting position will see you responsible for the growth of MICE, corporate, government and leisure accounts and occupancy through new and existing partnerships.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Strengthen engagement with existing MICE, corporate, government and leisure partners Actively seek out new business opportunities that will contribute to increased account production for MICE, corporate, government and leisure across Minor Hotels properties within Australia & New Zealand Implement strategies to drive occupancy and maximise revenue across Minor Hotels properties within Australia and New Zealand Maintain awareness of market rates for serviced apartments, specifically local competitor rates Attend local and international trade events to increase brand awareness of Minor Hotels Ensure all key stakeholders are kept informed of key sales developments Assist with the development of advertising collateral, working directly with the Marketing Department Work closely with Hotel Managers & Revenue Managers regarding occupancy requirements, actioning agreed items In conjunction with the Area Director of Sales, develop the annual sales plan, taking into consideration business trends, market conditions and tourism forecasts.
Qualifications To be successful in this role you will require the following skills, experience and qualifications:
3-5 years' experience in a similar position within the tourism industry Proven experience increasing sales and building business Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal Superior attention to detail and time management skills Strong problem-solving skills Availability to travel domestically and internationally when required Professional presentation and work ethic Additional Information Join our positive and vibrant team and be rewarded with these team benefits:
