Role Overview:
We deliver high quality evidence-based clinical care as a member of the multidisciplinary team to achieve better health outcomes for adults aged 18 years and over who experience mental health concerns and their families and carers.
Responsibilities include:
* Conduct risk assessments and provide risk management in collaboration with the individual, their family/carers and other support systems with active engagement of appropriate referrals and treatment planning.
Requirements:
* Must have one of the following: Full AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist or Mental Health Nurse, General or Provisional AHPRA registration as a Psychologist/Clinical Psychologist OR AASW registration/eligibility as a Social Worker
* Must be available to work a rotating roster that includes afternoons and evenings during the week, including alternating weekends and public holidays.
* Knowledge & understanding of the theory underpinning evidence-based interventions & clinical practice as well as demonstrated excellence in the practical application of such, in the areas of mental health and alcohol and drug use.
* Highly developed communication (including written) and interpersonal skills
* The ability to engage with people, advocate on their behalf and establish and maintain effective relationships with staff, clients, families & friends and stakeholders.
* Experience in the use of electronic client/customer management systems, ability to use a desktop computer, and experience with Microsoft Office applications
* Must be eligible to apply/currently hold a WWCC
* Must hold/be willing to apply for NDIS worker screening clearance
