* Paediatric Occupational Therapist (Part-time/ new graduates welcome to apply)
We are currently looking for an OT to work across two days, with potential to increase additional days if desirable.
Salary: $105 - $135 per hour including superannuation.
Susanne Nelson and Associates (SNAA) is a leading, Melbourne-based private occupational therapy practice, specialising in the field of Autism Spectrum Disorders and children with Attention Deficit Disorders and Developmental delays.
One of the first 100% outreach companies to exist in Melbourne dedicating its support to children within mainstream schools, SNAA is seeking a paediatric occupational therapist to join a busy, passionate, and energetic team of OTs. You will provide occupational therapy services to children (0-12 years) and their families.

o Starting rate per hour $105 including superannuation up to Senior Associate rate per hour of $135 including superannuation.
o Training and ongoing in-house professional support, supervision and mentoring offered from highly experienced OTs. Each staff member has their own mentor / supervisor, regardless of experience, and support offered by both Directors throughout the week when required.
o Ongoing support regarding the navigation of NDIS, Medicare, working in schools, SNAA's Needs Assessment Process, and neurodiverse / ASD & ADHD related topics, etc.
o At SNAA, we are committed to teaching our therapists best practice based upon evidence-based intervention approaches and offer intensive supervision to new graduates. All staff, regardless of experience, receive ongoing supervision and mentoring.

o Ability to incorporate own personal interests and skills into intervention and the SNAA service delivery model.
o Comprehensive handover for any existing clientele, support with new clients, full administration support included (e.g., client referrals, invoicing, management of accounts, etc).
Mandatory requirements:
o Current working with children's check / Australian national police check (SNAA fully subsidises).
o Professional indemnity and public liability insurance.
o Enthusiasm and passion to work with autistic children.
o Ability and interest working within a multidisciplinary team.
o Full registration as an Occupational Therapist with AHPRA.
o Registration with Medicare.
o Australian Business Number.
o Interest in ASD & ADHD, sensory modulation, social thinking, anxiety and emotional management, neuro-affirming approaches, cognitive behavioural therapy, family centered practice.
o Excellent organisation, communication (including written), and ability to work autonomously to manage set caseload. Clinical writing is an art itself and intensive support is provided to new Therapists to develop and master this skill (as we rely on it to communicate the child's progress to all team members to support generalisation of skills).
