Add expected salary to your profile for insightsA privately owned company, in operation for over 20 years with multiple petroleum retail sites in Victoria, Queensland and Western Australia.We are seeking a self-motivated and highly organised Store Manager to assist with the daily operation and management of store staff, retail stock and administration duties at BP Shepparton Central.The core duties of the role will include but are not limited to:Staff management, rostering and trainingDaily banking and reconciliation reportsManagement and ordering of stockPresentation and preparation of quality food and grocery optionsDirect communication link with suppliersRequired reporting of fuel, stock and salesCoordination and management of on-site kitchen, supply and serviceResponsibility for maintaining the store and ensuring effective retail service for the customer base including conflict resolutionManagement of workplace OH&SThe successful applicant will be able to demonstrate the ability to manage a variety of tasks in an effective manner to ensure the smooth operation and maximise the full potential of the outlet.
It is highly preferred that previous retail management experience of a service station or similar retail outlet can be demonstrated within application.
Basic food handling and storage skills are highly desired within the role.Skills & ExperienceRelevant experience is valuable, but the right attitude can prove more valuable.
Your previous business retail experience will be coupled with a good-natured personality.

Your success in this role will be measured by your ability to analyse information and feedback provided to the store and take action to increase sales and reduce costs through customer service initiatives and the resolution of operational issues.
