Grange Resources Tasmania is on the lookout for a Storepersons to join our operation in Savage River.
Reporting to the Mobile Maintenance Superintendent, the successful candidates will be responsible for performing all store functions effectively and efficiently.
Day to day
In this role you will be responsible for:
* Work on a 7/7 rotating shift roster.
* Receiving and unpacking of stock
* Storage and stock control
* Materials handling
* Use our ERP system to track inventory movements
* Stocktaking and inventory reconciliation
* Assist with regular stocktaking and reconciliation process
* Collaborate with Maintenance and Operational teams to ensure timely availability of materials for production and maintenance activities
* Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of storekeeping procedures and practices
Who you are
To be successful in this role you have:
* Previous experience in a warehousing or stores role
* A continuous improvement focus approach to your work with a focus on efficiency and accuracy
* Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
* Experience with Microsoft Office suite
* Qualifications in warehousing and storage (beneficial but not essential)
* Forklift Licence (advantageous)

Grange holds long term supply contracts for one million tonnes of its annual production and offers the balance of its production to market via a spot sales tendering/contracting process.

Savage River
The Savage River magnetite iron ore mine is a long-life mining asset where ore is mined and processed before it is transported by pipeline to Grange's pellet plant and ship loading facility at Port Latta.
The Savage River worksite is only an hour and half drive away from the vibrant coastal towns of north-west Tasmania, which offers a fantastic regional lifestyle and is only an hour’s flight from Melbourne with regular services from airports at Burnie, Devonport and Launceston.
