The dedicated team of educators and teachers pride themselves on having meaningful connections with families and strong ties to the community. The centre has a wonderfully large and well-shaded outdoor yard perfect for setting up engaging experiences and provocations. The team have a strong focus on creating a positive experience for all children and families so they feel nurtured, safe, confident and valued. About The Roles We are looking for a Room Leader and Educational Leader to join the team. Both roles will suit someone with experience in programming and the ability to inspire, motivate and maintain a positive learning culture within the centre for children, families and colleagues. The Educational Leader will spend time floating between each room and will be allocated a minimum of 8 hours per week of non contact time to complete any training and mentoring required. To ensure you are fully supported in your role, you will be working closely with our Head of Education and Quality as well as all Educational Leaders within Thrive. Responsibilities will include: Supporting educators to assess each child’s learning and development in relation to the approved learning framework, other contemporary theories and the Thrive Curriculum Supporting educators to critically reflect on each child’s learning and development and on their own pedagogy as part of everyday practice. Reflecting on educational pedagogy as part of everyday practice Maintaining a positive working relationship with all team members Maintaining effective communication with parents Upholding strong work values with a focus on being your best by doing your best Your skills and qualifications should include: Either Bachelor of Teaching (or equivalent) or Diploma qualification in early childhood education.
