The Opportunity
As the Group Function Sales Manager, you will be responsible for growing function sales across our venues by generating and converting leads, developing strategic sales initiatives, and collaborating with venues and marketing teams. Your success will be measured by revenue growth, lead conversion rates, customer retention and new sales opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
* Sales Growth & Performance
Drive function sales, meet revenue targets, and secure new business through proactive outreach and strategic partnerships.
* Sales Strategies & Venue Growth
Develop and implement seasonal initiatives, analyse sales trends, and identify opportunities to optimise group booking and function offerings.
* Function Development & Execution
Collaborate with venues to refine function packages, ensure seamless enquiry-to-booking processes, and provide insights to inform marketing strategies.
* Business Engagement & Sales Advocacy
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to drive new business and champion function sales across the organisation.
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience in sales, preferably in hospitality, events, or a similar field.
* Strong networking and business development skills with the ability to generate new leads.
* Experience with CRM systems and data-driven sales approaches.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
* Ability to develop and execute targeted sales strategies to maximise revenue.
* Familiarity with function booking and event management software (iVvy experience preferred).
