Key Account ManagerWeir MineralsPerthOnsitePurpose of Role: As the Key Account Manager, with a focus on capital projects, you will bring alignment and growth to all parts of the business through Weir's extensive brand stack.With an unwavering ability to develop, deliver, and implement strategic and sustainable value propositions to customers, you will see your efforts reflected in the growing relationships across your client base.Using your well-adverse business development skills, you will foster trust, reliability, and strength through knowledge of the Weir Group of products and services, with the ultimate goal of having integrated solutions.Key Responsibilities:Facilitate engagement between businesses and their key stakeholders to deliver the strategic plans.Develop, execute, and achieve growth in capital projects.Track & report market share and opportunity GAP analysis focusing on closing the gap.Maintain technical knowledge of customer processes to allow the development and improvement of customer operations specifically for aftermarket performance.Support budgeting and forecasting and overall wider brand stack growth strategy.Enhance the brand of Weir Minerals, sharing best practice, demonstrate compelling value and generally ensure Weir Minerals are the business partner of choice.Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviours in support of our drive towards developing a world-class safety culture.Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:Bachelor degree, preferably in Process or Mechanical Engineering.Strong business acumen, including the ability to be an innovative and entrepreneurial thinker.Proven ability to close deals by developing a preferred position with customers.Strong customer awareness with the ability to find the customer’s drivers in the various stages of the typical sales cycle for capital goods.Technical depth of knowledge in the minerals processing arena.Previous experience in high-quality technical capital goods sales to the resources industry.Prior experience with Weir Products would be highly advantageous.Hold a current manual driver's license.Founded in 1871, Weir is a world-leading engineering business with a purpose to make mining operations smarter, more efficient, and sustainable.
