ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITYDue to growth in the business, this newly created Billing Officer role is an exciting opportunity to work within a close-knit finance team.
You'll be responsible for the end-to-end billing process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with aged care funding models and government reporting requirements.
Manage resident and client billing across various aged care servicesProcess claims and reconciliations via Medicare, Services Australia, and other government portalsMaintain up-to-date client billing records and resolve account queriesEnsure compliance with Aged Care Funding Instrument (ACFI)/AN-ACC and NDIS (if applicable)Liaise with internal departments, families, and external stakeholders to resolve billing issuesProvide reporting support to the Finance Manager as neededAssist in process improvement and system updatesABOUT YOU Previous experience in a similar billing/accounts role—aged care or healthcare preferredSound knowledge of Medicare, DVA, ACFI/AN-ACC, and relevant billing platformsStrong written and verbal communication skills—able to speak professionally with residents and familiesHighly organised with a strong attention to detailComfortable working with finance/CRM systems and MS ExcelTeam player with a compassionate and customer-first approachImmediate or short-notice availability preferredMane Consulting specialise in transactional and corporate accounting roles across aged care, healthcare, and the not-for-profit sectors.
