We are exclusively representing a leading national retirement village operator.
THE ROLE
They are seeking a retirement village manager to lead a boutique village located in Orange in the Central Tablelands.
The role is a Monday to Friday role with the need to be on-call from time to time. There is parking on site.
Key responsibilities:
* Operational management of the village on a day to day and strategic basis, including budgets and maintenance.
* Assist with the sales process.
* Driving the improvement and development of resident focused programs, activities and services.
* All aspects of resident communication, interaction and administration.
* General administrative tasks.
* Providing a safe environment for staff, residents and visitors.
* Other general duties as required.
ABOUT YOU
Our client is looking for someone keen to grow and develop as part of their organisation.
Skills / Experience Required:
* Experience as a retirement village manager or similar (hotel, hospitality and property management highly regarded).
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* The ability to effectively bring about changes and improvements.
* The ability to design programs and initiatives.
* Ability to work effectively in a team, delegate and carry out tasks.
* Financial experience, including budgeting.
* Strong computer skills.
* Understanding of risk and compliance issues and management in a setting such as a retirement village.
* Ability to learn relevant legislation quickly.
Requirements:
* Full Australian working rights
* Driver's license
* First aid and CPR certificate
* A real estate license or the ability to get one
* A clear background check or ability to get one.
