Job Description
Our client is a highly respected Tier 2 Principle Construction builder with decades of experience delivering top-tier construction projects across New South Wales. With a robust pipeline of multi-storey, new-build residential projects, they have established an exceptional reputation for quality, innovation, and staff retention. They are now seeking a Sub-Foreman / Leading Hand who has solid experience working on $20mil+ multi-storey residential new builds.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist the Site Foreman in managing on-site activities and subcontractors
* Ensure all work is completed safely, on time, and to the highest standards
* Oversee daily site operations, ensuring all tasks are carried out efficiently
* Help coordinate the workforce, materials, and equipment
* Ensure compliance with site safety regulations and company policies
* Monitor the quality of workmanship and finishes
* Provide solutions to on-site challenges and help maintain momentum in project delivery
Skills & Experience:
* Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the construction industry, on multi storey residential – $20mil+
* Proven experience as a Leading Hand, Sub-Foreman, or similar role
* Strong understanding of construction processes, particularly in multi-storey residential builds
* Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
* A proactive, problem-solving attitude with a hands-on approach
* White Card and relevant safety certifications
