The Business Process Analyst will report to the Enterprise Excellence Manager.The Business Process Analyst will support the delivery of various projects to continuously improve the business through digital transformation, process automation, process improvement, and change management to optimise how we deliver value to our employees and customers. These projects relate to change, business processes, and strategic changes. Working within a dynamic group of stakeholders across the business, the Business Process Analyst will support the successful implementation of projects within agreed scope, timeframe, and budget. There will be some project management responsibility when you are the sole project team member working with the business teams.What you will be doingSupport the business with consistent frameworks, tools, operating models, governance frameworks, and specialist resources.Place our customers at the centre of every decision, surprise and delight them, earn their trust, and exceed their expectations.Establish a digital culture and mind-set that looks to continuously improve, automate and simplify our business, empowering and enabling our employees to better and more easily serve our customers.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and document business requirements, documenting current state and future state processes.Assist in embedding new discipline around process mapping and procedure documentation.Provide process improvement and/or reengineering recommendations.Assist in gap analysis to identify issues and propose solutions.Develop detailed business analysis artefacts that can be interpreted by any implementation partner.Develop user guides and execute training where necessary.Coordinate the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases of project delivery, including the development of UAT test scripts and the coordination of bug resolution.Assist data migration activities in conjunction with business units and external vendors.Develop diagrams and process maps as appropriate.Project management responsibilities as required.What you will bringExperience documenting procedures and developing process maps.Ability to translate business requirements in a meaningful way to support partners.Refined relationship and stakeholder management skills and ability to build and sustain collaborative relationships.Ability to steer and implement change and deal with uncertainty to deliver on intended results.Good multitasking skills and ability to manage simultaneous actions and tasks within a project.Innovative and analytical mind-set with a focus on strategic objectives.Excellent communication skills (interpersonal, written, and verbal) with an ability to engage different audiences.Demonstrated experience in a similar position preferred.Commitment to Bank Australia’s purpose, aspiration, values, and brand as well as the B Corp ethos.By submitting an application you agree to Bank Australia’s Privacy Policy for applicants and confirm that you are legally able to work in Australia.
