Business Development Manager - CAT Sales / Rental Division

Key Responsibilities:
* Identify and target new business opportunities within the casual forklift rental sector.
* Manage the casual hire of rental fork truck equipment and contribute to the growth of the rental department.
* Conduct in-depth site appraisals to identify areas for value addition and improvement in market share.
* Achieve order targets while managing and supporting existing clients and new opportunities.
* Work closely with key stakeholders to drive solutions that meet client needs effectively.
* Expand and grow the customer base through persistence and a strong commitment to client success.
About You:
* Experience in capital equipment sales and a background in external B2B sales and rental are highly regarded.
* Proven track record as a lead generator who proactively seeks opportunities and is results-driven.
* Strong attention to detail, well-developed negotiation skills, and excellent relationship-building abilities.
* Highly motivated with strong commercial acumen and good problem-solving skills; the ability to think outside the box is essential.
* Proficient in IT with excellent written and oral communication skills; familiarity with CRM tools is a plus.
* Understanding of equipment is an advantage, along with experience in high-end solutions selling.
