We are currently recruiting for OSHC Educators on a casual basis to join our YMCA Albany Creek Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) Service. About the service YMCA Albany Creek Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) is Located at Albany Creek State School. We offer two indoor areas (junior and senior) and several large outdoor play spaces. Our program is child based offering a wide range of indoor and outdoor activities while also giving the children the opportunity to create their own fun. We are licensed for 180 children and offer Before School Care, After School Care and Vacation care, and are open from 6:30am-6:00pm. Our Service philosophy very much reflects a child first approach with our Service’s primary focus being ‘our environment’ highlighting the importance of sustainability and ‘cultural acceptance and fairness’. Our educators are dedicated professionals who bring a range of unique skills to share with our families, community and children to assist with implementing spontaneous and directed play and learning experiences. About the role As an OSHC Educator you are responsible for the care of children before school, after school and during school holiday periods. You’ll assist in running fascinating, fun-filled and educational activities with primary school children, such as science experiments, outdoor games, painting and musical activities.
