Job no: 886402Work type: Full timeLocation: Adelaide CBDCategories: Allied and Scientific Health, Mental HealthWomen's and Children's Health Network, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS), Eating Disorder Service - North Adelaide (5006)Classification - AHP2 - Allied Health Professional L2 - $88,255 to $102,240Full time - Term contract (Temporary up to 30/6/2026)About the OpportunityWe currently have an exciting opportunity to join the CAMHS Eating Disorders Service as a Clinician (Psychologist/OT/Social Worker) where you will be responsible for:Delivering specialist child and adolescent mental health care to consumers with eating disorder needs.The provision of assessment, education, counselling and group work.Undertake discipline specific assessments when required to ensure optimal understanding of the presenting mental health/eating disorder issue.Act as a consultant and resource person to CAMHS, other agencies and the community by providing information and education regarding child, adolescent and family mental health eating disorders.Promote access and equity of services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and young people and their families.The role will provide outreach at CAMHS community team sites such as Elizabeth, Port Adelaide and Enfield.About YouAppropriate Degree or equivalent qualification.Communicate and work with other professionals, facilitate group functions and work as a team member.Clinical experience in the treatment and management of complex child and adolescent mental health issues, including eating disorders.Demonstrated knowledge of the theory and practice of clinical work within discipline, including group work.Knowledge of developmental theory and the mental and physical impact of eating disorders on the individual and the family unit.What WCHN Can Offer YouRelocation financial support may be negotiated, subject to eligibility.Salary package a range of benefits (including living expenses such as mortgage, rent, utility bills and groceries) up to $9,010 each FBT year + $2,650 for Meal Entertainment expenses each FBT year.Access to Fitness Passport (workplace health and fitness program that gives you and your family access to a wide choice of gyms and pools across South Australia.)Free public transport for SA Health Metropolitan Hospital workers to and from the Women's and Children's Hospital.
