Our dedicated 50 staff and 750+ volunteers deliver over 280,000 meals every year to frail, aged people, and people with disabilities enabling them to remain independent in their homes for longer.About the role:Meals on Wheels Tasmania is seeking a Client Service Officer (CSO), our CSO’s are the first point of contact for our clients and are responsible for delivering exceptional services. This is a position that will be challenging and is notfor the fainthearted. We are looking for someone who can bring a positive, engaging, and helpful attitude to the role that contributes to the office performance and enhances our clients’ experience.This role will be Part-time 22.50 hours per week.About you:The successful candidate in this role will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a high-volumereception or administration-based position, a proven ability to take initiative and prioritise tasks effectively while displaying an empathic yet resilient attitude.The successful candidate will need excellent communication skills both written and verbal and be a great team player with an ability to work autonomously when required.Selection Criteria:Highly efficient and organised with exceptional time management skills.Exceptional interpersonal skills, combined with excellent verbal, and written communication skills.Demonstrated experience dealing effectively with vulnerable clients with proven ability to show compassion, respect and understanding of clients from a range of diverse backgrounds.Proven experience in building relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.Well-developed teamwork skills and the ability to work both collaboratively and independently.Strong computer literacy, specifically in client management systems and word-based software (eg.
